SHIELDS George Patrick (Geordie), August 4 2026, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family, in his 88th year) much loved husband of the late Mary, devoted father of Garvin and Darren, loving father-in-law of Michelle, an adored grandfather of Niall, Graham and Robyn, dearest brother of Emma, a dear brother-in-law and uncle.

Funeral leaving his late home, 55 Shearwater Way, Clooney on Thursday, August 6 at 12.30 p.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Waterside Presbyterian Church at 1.00 p.m., followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family time on Tuesday please, all are welcome to pay their respects in his late home on Wednesday from 1.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
