SHIELS John (Francie) 29th May 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, JOHN ( FRANCIE ), beloved husband of Geraldine, loving father of John, Colm, Martin and Gary, dear father-in-law to Sibeal and Niamh, devoted grandfather of Jake, Maggie, Jude and Hannah, dear and loving brother of Alice and Don and brother-in-law to Catarina and her husband Colm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and all his friends.

John will be reposing at his home, 6 Little Diamond, on Friday 30th May from 5:30pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Monday 2nd June at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Family time please from 10:00pm to 10:00am.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
