SHIELS (nee Begley) Catherine, 23rd March 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late Billy, formerly of Shantallow and Creggan, loving mother of Joanne and Barry, devoted granny of Jack and Paige and dear sister of Elaine, Dorothy, Pat, Martin, Liam and the late Brenda.

Her remains will be reposing in her daughter’s home, 320 Carnhill, from 5 pm on Monday. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30 am for 11 o’clock Requeim Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.
