SHIELS (née Nelis) Annie, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 12th April 2026. Late of 4 Abbey House, Little Diamond and formerly of Fosters Terrace, Lecky Rd. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Jack. Devoted mother of John, Charlie, Adrian, Paul, Danny, Jackie and the late Marie. Dearest mother-in-law of Karen, Linda, Rebecca, Lorraine, Ann, Solly and Mark. A much loved granny and great-granny to all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A dear sister to all of her brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Annie’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 4 Abbey House, Little Diamond from 12 noon tomorrow afternoon, Monday 13th April. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 15th April at 11:20am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
