Sr Sarah SHREWSBURY

Date of Death: Wednesday 22nd January 2025 Town: Newry

SHREWSBURY Sr Sarah, (Newry) January 22nd, 2025. Peacefully, Sr Sarah, dearly beloved daughter of the late Dorothy and Harold, much loved sister of Tommy and Dennis and sister-in-law of June, formerly Brea, California. May she Rest In Peace.

Sr. Sarah’s remains will repose at St Clare’s Convent Chapel, 12 Ashgrove Avenue, Newry, BT34 1PR on Friday from 1.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am followed by burial in St Clare’s Convent Cemetery, Castle Street. St Clare and St Francis pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her Sisters in the community and congregation, her brothers, sister-in-law, and her entire family circle and friends.

We are grateful to have had Sr. Sarah in our lives. My 4 children attended Sr. Sarah’s children liturgy at St. Paul’s in Chino Hills California . They are in their teens and twenties now . How quickly time passes. We love Sr. Sarah ! We have many wonderful memories with her. Her beautiful smile and warmth will never be forgotten. Memories of her joy brings smiles to our faces. We miss her! She was an amazing , most loving and beautiful person . She touched so many lives . Our parish community was so blessed by her presence. She is forever in our hearts. May God grant her eternal peace. The Srun Family
