FAMILY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We, the family of the late Annie Slane wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us and provided support during our recent sad bereavement.
We are very grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, messages or phoned, brought food and flowers and helped in many practical ways. Your kindness will always be remembered.
A special word of thanks to our family members, neighbours and friends who helped organise the teas, carparking and all that needed to be done.
We offer sincere thanks to Fr. James Devine who celebrated the Requiem Mass and to both Fr. Devine and Fr. Brian Donnelly for their spiritual support and guidance.
Thank you to the musicians Margaret Anne Conlon and Patrick Slevin for the uplifting music. A special thanks to Michael McDermott whose beautiful accordion music accompanied Annie to her final resting place.
Thank you to Mary Bradley for the beautiful daffodils on the altar. Thank you to Anne the sacristan, Josephine the eucharist minister and Michael the altar server.
Thank you to the medical team and staff at Loy Medical Centre, Fall’s chemist and the District Nurses for their great care and support.
We are forever grateful to Anne Donnelly for her unfailing care and attention, joy and always bringing the news and the craic.
A very special thanks goes to the gravediggers for preparing Annie’s final resting place and to the undertakers Kieran Kirk for the professionalism, guidance and support. Your care and steady reassurance helped us through a difficult time.
Thank you to Raymond and Claire Loughran and all the staff of the Mill Wheel for the seamless service of the delicious funeral dinner.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

Annie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 26th April at 11.30am in Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Broughderg.
