Matt SLEVIN

Date of Death: Friday 31st December 2021 Town: Dromore
Date of Death: Friday 31st December 2021

Matt passed away on the 31st of December, a widely respected gentleman, devoted Brother, Uncle and friend to many. We, his family, wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers and those who left messages online or via social media. Our thanks those to those who attended when Matt’s remains were received in St. Davogs Church or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam.

A special word of thanks to Father Patrick MacEntee for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially Alice Hughes and James McCaffrey who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Matt’s final resting place.

We extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors of the South West Acute Hospital, Social Workers and Brian and Ann McGrath of Golan View who cared so well for Matt in his final weeks.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Matt’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davogs’ Church, Dromore on Friday 18th February at 7.30pm and may also be viewed via the Dromore Parish Webcam. Our Lady pray for him.
