Acknowledgement from the family of the late Jim Sloan. RIP.
As Jim’s family, we would like to thank all who sympathised with us on our loss and extend our thanks to those who attended the wake and funeral and to those who helped out in any way at the house. To Michael and Marie for the parking spaces.
Thank you to Downeys and Corn Dolly for providing food for the family.
To the paramedics and hospital staff of Daisyhill, our heartfelt thanks for the attention and care for Jim.
Thanks to Dr.Giby and staff of Meigh surgery and to Richard and staff of Meigh Pharmacy for your care over the years.
To Fr. Naughton for conducting the beautiful requiem mass and to Janice Gribben, organist and Cliodhna Cowan, soloist for the beautiful music.
We express a heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Pat, Jacqueline, Paddy and staff of McGennity Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified service and guidance during our difficult time.
Jim’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 27th October at 11.00am in St.Michael’s Church, Killean.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Jim’s remains will be removed from Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home this evening (Friday 27th September) at 7.30pm to his daughter Lorna O’Keefe’s residence, 35 Ferryhill Road, Clontigora. Reposing tomorrow (Saturday 28th September) from 12 noon until 9pm. House private on Sunday please. Removal at 1.30pm on Sunday (29th September), arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm in St. Michael’s Church, Killean. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Very deeply regretted by his loving sons, daughters, wife, grandchildren and the extended family circle.
May he rest in peace.
