SMITH (nee McCartan) Maureen(Newcastle) April 14, 2022 peacefully at the Downe Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen, dearly beloved wife of the late Pat and cherished mother of Bernadette, Eamon, Martin, Áine, Fintan, Nuala, Claire and the late Louise. R.I.P.

Maureen’s remains will leave her late home, 78 Tollymore Road, Newcastle on Monday at 10.00am for 11am Requiem Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Bryansford. On her soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother Terence McCartan, sister Una Killen and entire family circle.
