Alan (Ally) SMYTH

The family of the late Ally wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. We thank our close friends for their kindness and extend our sincere thanks to all those who sent mass cards and sympathy cards and to those who contacted members of the family and all those who paid their respects at Ally’s funeral. A special thanks to Fr Peter O’Kane for his support and guidance and for Ally’s Requiem Mass, and to Musician’s and singer for the beautiful singing and music. Our special thanks and grateful appreciation also to the NI Fire Service. We also sincerely appreciate and extend our thanks to Ciaran, Robert and Sean of Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their professionalism and for their guidance and the sensitive and dignified manner in which they handled all the arrangements.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Ally will be celebrated on Wednesday 6th March 2024 at 7.30pm in St Joseph’s Church, Killough.
Star of the Sea:
Mary, Star of the Sea, light of every ocean, guide seafarers across all dark and stormy seas that they may reach the haven of peace and light prepared in Him who calmed the sea.
SMYTH Alan (Ally) (Killough) Died 9th February 2024 suddenly at his late residence.
Dearly beloved son of the late Thomas and Marie. Father of Niall and stepfather to Niamh. Much loved brother of Donna, Phillip, Nuala and the late Valerie and Thomas. Cherished uncle and friend to many.
Funeral from his sister Nuala’s residence 27 Chapel Street, Killough on Saturday 17th February 2024 at 9.45am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Josephs Church, Killough. Interment afterwards in Rossglass Cemetery. St Nicholas pray for him.
Very deeply regretted by his entire family circle.
