SMYTH John Desmond (Desi) – 18th May 2026, peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital, and late of Thornton Villas, Bellanaleck.

John Desmond (Desi), devoted husband of the late Pauline, dearly loved father of Jonathan (Julie), Jeremy (Sarah), Fiona (Andy) and Susan (Nick), and a much-loved grandfather of Ben, Megan, Joshua, Daniel, Katie, Ashley, Alex, Finlay, Amie and Lillie-Ann, and great-grandfather of Patrick, Rowan and Maeve. Dear brother of the late Gloria.

House strictly private please. Friends and neighbours are welcome to call and meet the family at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home, 101 Killadeas Road, Enniskillen, BT94 2ES on Wednesday 20th May between 5.00pm – 7.00pm.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Desi will take place in Cleenish Parish Church, Bellanaleck on Thursday 21st May at 1.00pm, followed by a private burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cleenish Parish Church.

Desi will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
