The death has taken place of John (Ivan) Stokes, April 11 2026 Peacefully at his home 6 Shearwater Way, Clooney, (surrounded by his loving family in his 78th year) much loved husband of Anne, devoted dad of Heather, Lisa and Jayson, loving father-in-law of Terri, adored granda of Zara, Nyah, Alice and Jayson, dearest brother of Dessi, Hilary and the late Sandra.

Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Wednesday, April 15 at 11.00am, followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Clooney Hall Methodist Church or Foyle Hospice c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3QQ. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home on Monday and Tuesday, from 2.00pm until 8.00pm.
