The daughters Marina and Siobhan, of the late Teresa Sweeney, 19 Coleraine Road, Portstewart, would like to acknowledge with sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss. To all who sent messages, cards, called at our home and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to Drs. James and Dearbhla Harley and all the carers and nurses who cared for our darling mum Teresa in her final years of her life. A special thankyou to Wades Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate service provided. A very special message of thanks to Fr. Kevin McGuckien for his pastoral and spiritual care and support that he provided during Teresa’s final months of her life and for celebrating a beautiful Funeral Mass.

Teresa’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18th January at 5 p.m. in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart. Our Lady Queen of Peace, Pray for Her.

SWEENEY Teresa, 10th December 2024, peacefully at home (surrounded by her loving family), Teresa, R.I.P., 19 Coleraine Road, Portstewart. Dearly beloved wife of the late Charlie, loving mother of Marina (and Seamus), Siobhan and the late Clare, a much-loved grandmother, sister and aunt.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 1.00pm and 9.00pm.

Funeral from her home on Friday at 11.30am to St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church for Mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in Agherton Cemetery.
