We the family of John wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers and support at this time of great loss.
We would like to acknowledge the many gestures of sympathy we have received – for
those who attended the funeral home, sent mass and sympathy cards, online messages, social tributes and the local newspapers for the tribute they paid to dads’ contribution to the local community and afar through his music career– we are forever grateful.

We add a special note of gratitude to Father Joseph Varghese CC for celebrating the requiem mass and providing spiritual support at a time of great loss, and to Father Eugene Hasson PP for visiting John in the home prior to his death. We thank the sacristan for his work in preparation for the funeral.

To our family who read the liturgy, said prayers of the Faithful, carried up the offertory procession and to the eucharistic Ministers who all participated in the funeral Mass thank you.

A special word of thanks to Seamus (john’s brother) for the touching eulogy – this was a great testament to the life of John.

Thanks to Stephen McQuaid – Omagh Printing .com for providing the mass booklets and a memory of the service which we are forever grateful.

Special thanks to Dominic Kirwin and Matt McGlinn who provided the beautiful music
which added to the meaningful and comforting atmosphere of the service.

Thanks to those who stood along the funeral route to his place of Rest and to those who were present at or watched the funeral mass and mourned with us, thank you.
We are grateful to the grave diggers who prepared Johns final resting place and to Judith floral temptations for the beautiful floral wreaths.

We are grateful for the refreshments provided by Conor Quinn and the staff of the Coach Inn after the burial for the family.

Thank you to Maguire funeral directors for the caring and professional way the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out – the guidance and support you give us at this time was invaluable.

We extend our thanks to all those who cared for John during his illness and time in SWAH and especially all those in Hillcrest Nursing home who not only provided him with the care he needed but a loving home environment in his last few years. As a family we are forever grateful for this.

A special word of thanks to all our family and friends who were with us and who continue to stay close to us during our time of great loss.
