ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The wife and family of Lexie Tate would like to express “our thanks” for the love, support and condolences following Lexie’s sudden passing. It brought us great comfort to know he was loved and respected by so many.
We are grateful and thankful to everyone who visited the family home, sent sympathy cards, provided refreshments and attended the funeral.
A special thanks to Canon Paul Hoey for his support and moving service at the funeral.
Special thanks to Michella and the District Nurse’s and Dr Casey from the Eglinton Medical practice. The Foyle Hospice Community Team and the Marie Curie nurses. All provided great support and comfort to Lexie and the family.
Thanks to W J O’Brien & Son funeral directors for the dignified handling of the funeral arrangements.

TATE Alexander (Lexie), 25th March 2025 peacefully at home, beloved husband of Avril, loving father of Linda, Alex and the late Frances, father-in-law of Nigel and devoted grandfather of Christopher, Rebecca and the late Craig.
His remains will be reposing in his home, 5 Castle Park, Eglinton, on Wednesday from 5 – 9 pm and on Thursday from 12 noon to 7 pm. Funeral service will take place there on Friday at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in St Canice’s Parish churchyard, Eglinton.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice or Marie Curie.
