Theresa Buchanan died on 15th December 2020.  Late of Edencrieve, Dublin Road, Newry.

Theresa, wife of the late Hugh Joseph (Joe), loving mother of Patricia, Hugh, Caroline, Kieran and the late Maureen and sister of the late Imelda, John and Kathleen.

Theresa’s remains are reposing in Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ this evening (Tuesday 15th December) from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Anyone visiting the funeral home is requested to wear a face covering and observe strict social distancing please. Removal from the funeral home tomorrow morning (Wednesday 16th December) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge.

Mass will be restricted to immediate family and close friends but will be live-streamed on the link below. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s cemetery. People are welcome to pay their respects by lining the route as the funeral cortège passes by or by attending the cemetery while adhering to social distancing requirements.  Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren Louise, Kieran, Sarah-Louise, Emma-Jane and Jason, great-grandchildren Stephen and Seanie, sisters Mena, Sheila and Anna, brother Dennis and the extended family circle.

May she rest in peace.
