THOMPSON Peter John – Passed away unexpectedly at Monklands Hospital, Coatbridge, Glasgow on 2nd July 2023 Aged 50 years. Late of 14 Gartcolt Place, Coatbridge and his family home at Hillhead Crescent, Belfast.

Principal of the Peter Thompson Academy, School of Irish Dance and Chairperson of the Scottish Branch of An Chomhdháil Irish Dancing Association. Adored son of the Late Marie and Peter. Beloved brother of Sharon, Martin and Catrina and brother-in-law to Gerard, Damian and Noreen. Devoted uncle to Gerard, Conor, Sarah, Aidan and Lucy. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Peter’s remains will be reposing in O’Neill’s Chapel of Rest on Saturday 22nd July from 1pm to 8pm. Peter’s remains will then return to his sisters address, 41 Hillhead Court, Belfast, BT11 9FP where you may pay your respects on Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Peter’s remains will leave his sisters residence on Monday 24th July at 12:15pm to arrive at St Michael the Archangel for 1pm Requiem Mass. Cremation will take place the following day.

Peter will be sorely missed by his heartbroken sisters, brother, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and entire family circle. St Michael the Archangel pray for him.
