Eugene Patrick Thornton died on January 27th 2021, suddenly.  Late of Randalstown and late of Swans Cross, Co. Monaghan

A profound loss to his broken hearted family, his wife Martha, beloved father of Marsha and John Paul, son and daughter-in-law Simon and Jolene, cherished Grandpa of Jake and Amelia. Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters, Michael, Brendan, Martin, Ann and Con, his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relative and friends.  May His Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Eugene’s Remains will leave Smyth Funeral Directors, Ballybay on Saturday morning, 30th January, via Anney Cross, Rockcorry, Trinity Chapel, Swans Cross to arrive at Saint Michael’s Church, Corcaghan for 11am Funeral Mass, Interment in adjoining cemetery.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Eugene’s Funeral Mass with be celebrated in the presence of his Family only. Those who would have liked to attend but are unable to do so due to restrictions are welcome to leave a personal message in the condolences section below.
