THORNTON Patrick – R.I.P. Late of 24 Clonlum Road, Killeavy, Newry. Died peacefully on 6th May 2026 at Glencarron Nursing Home, Crossmaglen. Beloved son of the late Bernard and Ellen and dear brother of Mary, Peggy and the late Owen, Jimmy, Tommy and Anna.

Patrick’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ this evening (Thursday 7th May) from 5-9pm and tomorrow (Friday 8th May) from 12 noon until removal at 3.30pm, arriving for Requiem Mass at 4pm in St. Joseph’s church, Meigh. Burial afterwards in Cloughoge cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by his loving sisters, nephews, nieces and the extended family circle.

Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him. May he rest in peace.
