TIERNEY John (Nonny), 11th April 2026, suddenly at his home, 47 Melmore Gardens, beloved son of the late Patrick and Annie Rose, loving brother of Nucker, Pius, Roseleen, Margaret, Carol, Ann, Lisa and the late Martha, Via, Nan and Patrick (Boo), and brother-in-law to the late Daniel Cassidy and Michael Lavy, dear uncle of the late Stephen Chadwick, Noel Lavy and Gronia Cassidy and great-uncle of the late Caoimhin and Daryl Cassidy. Loved and will be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and his wider family circle friends and neighbours.

John will be reposing at his home on Monday 13th April from 6:00 p.m.

Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday 15th April at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
