The Family of the late Alice Tomb would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank those who attended the wake and the funeral service, sent cards and messages of sympathy and kindly donated in lieu of flowers to St. Lurach’s Church fund.
Special thanks are extended to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Medical Wards 1 and 2 at The Causeway Hospital and the Doctors of Maghera Medical Centre for the care provided during her recent illness.
Sincere thanks to the Reverend Jonathan Brown for conducting the funeral service and for his pastoral care for Alice, both at her home and during her stay at The Causeway Hospital.
Finally, we would like to thank Helen and all the Staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for the help, care and compassion shown to us during this difficult time and for carrying out all the arrangements in a dignified and professional manner.

TOMB (née Scott) Alice – June 14th 2025 (peacefully) at The Causeway Hospital, Coleraine. Alice, dearly beloved Wife of the late Angus, 10 O’Hara Road, Maghera, much loved Mother of Roland, Christopher and Lesley, a loving Mother-in-Law of Dympna and Keith, devoted Nanny of Tom and Charlotte and dearest Sister of Margaret and the late Dorothy, Violet, Raymond, Tom and Winston.

House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Monday evening (June 16th) from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Funeral will take place from her home on Tuesday, June 17th at 1:30pm, to St. Lurach’s Parish Church, Maghera for service, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Lurach’s Parish Church, can be made online or payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Forever loved and sadly missed by her sorrowing Family and Family Circle.
