Leo TRAINOR

We the sisters and family of the late Leo Trainor RIP would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us on his sudden passing.
We would like to thank those who attended the wake, funeral mass, burial, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and sent messages of condolences.
A special word of thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who helped during the wake and funeral, bringing food to the house, transporting people by minibus, putting up lighting outside and those who helped in any other way to welcome Leo home. Your help and support were greatly appreciated.
We are especially grateful to the staff and customers of McElroy’s Shop, Augher and the Emergency Services who came to Leo’s aid and were with him in the final moments of his life. It is a great comfort to us knowing that he was with people who cared and did all they could for him.
Thank you to his old friend Fr. McGourty for his prayerfulness and attendance at Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Home, Lisnaskea before Leo came home. A sincere thanks to Canon McGahan and Fr. Gallagher for the beautiful requiem mass celebrating Leo’s life and for their spiritual guidance and support throughout. Also to Donna Taggart, Mark Taggart and Rory Madden for the wonderful music which added so much to the ceremony and Phelim Mulrine for live streaming the mass.
Our grateful appreciation to Augher GAA for the guard of honour for Leo and their tireless work throughout stewarding at the wake, Church, carpark and surrounding roads.
A special word of thanks to Dominic Muldoon and Phelim McKenna, the Funeral Directors for their professionalism, help and support provided to us.
Thank you also to the friends and neighbours who prepared Leo’s final resting place in Clara cemetery.
We thank Quinn’s Corner for the lovely meal provided to us after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and thanks.
Leo’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 1st March 2024 at 7.30pm in St. Macartan’s Church, Augher.
