We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Patrick (Paddy) Tyre, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital on 8th July 2024. Late of 4 Melmore Gardens. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Evelyn. Devoted father of Séan, Eamon, Colin, Rósin, Emmet and Aóife. A much loved father-in-law of Kathy, Amanda, Kieran, Denise and Eóin. Loving granda of Ethan, Kirstie, Jane, Brendan, Abaigh, Lennon, Eamonn, Ellen, Ronan, Caóimhin, Dara, Zara, Tiernan and Aódhan. Precious great-granda of Daíthi, Cónan and Córa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his brothers and sisters, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Paddy’s remains will be reposing at his late family home, 4 Melmore Gardens from 6pm this evening, Tuesday 9th July. Funeral leaving from from there on Thursday 11th July at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be private from 10pm until 10am.
