We the family of the late Vera Kelly would like to thank everyone who helped out and offered kindness and support throughout Mum’s wake and funeral. The number of people who called with us, sent messages, supplied food, made tea was overwhelming. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation.

As we prepare for Mum’s Months Mind mass we are reminded of the love and care shown to her and us, we are forever grateful, please join us for Mum’s Months Mind mass on Friday 28th August at 7pm in St John the Baptist Church, Galbally.

Kelly (Galbally) 30th July 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Vera (née Hughes). Beloved wife of Peter Brendan and cherished mother to Jackie, Martin, Maria, Sinéad, Patrick, Edel and the late Peter, Veronica and Baby Kelly who died in infancy RIP. Mother-in-law to Stephen, Danny, Joanne and Paul and treasured Granny to Ruairí , Anna, Joseph, Kate, Mary-Kate, Ellie-Rose and Lily-Mae. Much loved sister of Tom, Pauline, Patsy and the late Sadie and Mick RIP.

Vera is reposing at home 2 Lurgylea Rd. BT70 2NX and her family have respectfully requested that their home remain private before 12 noon each day and until 9am Sunday morning.

Funeral from there on Sunday to The Church of Saint John the Baptist for 10am Requiem Mass, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Padre Pio pray for her.

Deeply loved and missed by her grieving husband, daughters, sons, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law grandchildren, brothers, sister, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.
