Date of Death: Wednesday 5th February 2025

We, the family of Vera would like to express our overwhelming thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on the recent passing of our Mother. Our heartfelt thanks to all who called to the house, sent cards and messages of condolence, provided food and attended the wake and funeral.

Special thanks to the Dungannon District Nursing team, Craigavon and Royal Victoria Hospital teams and Campbell’s Surgery for their help and support throughout Mum’s life. Sincere thanks to Mum’s home carers who gave exceptional care and kindness to Mum over the years, many of whom became her friend. We truly appreciate the help and care they provided, we personally thank you all.

We thank all the neighbours and friends of Mums who lived in Lisnahull and the wider Dungannon area for their kindness and generosity throughout Mum’s Life. We are deeply touched by your kindness and support. Your thoughtful words and gestures have meant so much to our family. Thank you for being such wonderful neighbours and friends.

Thank you Fr. McCamley for his heartfelt Requiem Mass in Edendork Chapel, thanks also to the grave diggers. Special thanks to the Lisnahull community group and An Seansiopa for the support and use of their equipment provided during the wake.

A sincere thanks to the musicians and singer Sinead Willox who elegantly provided the music during the Requiem Mass. A special thanks to Kate McAleer at McAleer Bros Funeral Directors, for the honourable and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. The assistance, kindness, consideration and support given to us was outstanding.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a symbol of our sincere thankfulness to you all.

Vera’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church Edendork on Thursday 6th of March at 7:30 pm.
