Veronica (Vera) McElroy died December 17th at hospital after a short illness.

Vera, beloved wife of Michael Dobbin and loving mother to Michael, Maria and Gerard, mother-in-law to Karl and Orlaith, devoted granny to Isabella, Rowan, Charlie and Culann.

Vera’s remains will arrive at Church of St Colman, Queensway, Lambeg on Tuesday for 1.00pm Requiem Mass. St Joseph intercede for her.

A beautiful kind and precious wife, mother and grandmother. Founding member and group leader of 23rd Antrim (Derriaghy) Scout Group. Gone home. Vera was a good friend to many people but due to current circumstances the House is Private to Family Only.

Book of Condolences

I was so sorry to hear such sad news. I worked with Vera for many years and she was just such a helpful and considerate person. She was a cornerstone for each and every team she was a member of. She will be hugely missed as a colleague and friend. My heartfelt condolences to Michael and all the family.
