WARD Brendan (Benny) Lavey 6th October 2026 Brendan (Benny) R.I.P. Peacefully at the MacMillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Stella (née Martin) and devoted father of Annie, James and Emma. Loving son of the late Neil and Gertie Ward. Brother of Michael, Shauna Quinn, Neil, Thomas, PJ, Daniel, Anne McAleer and the late Paul and infant Patrick.

Funeral from his home 85a Gulladuff Road, Magherafelt BT45 8QB on Saturday 10th October at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lavey. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

No flowers. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Macmillan Cancer Care Antrim. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Deeply regretted by sorrowing wife, daughters, son, sister, brothers, parents-in-law Mary and Jim, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.

Brendan’s wake will commence on Thursday 8th October at 11am. House private until the wake commences. Family time requested from 10pm to 11am
