The death has taken place of the late Robert (Jackie) Watters, March 12 2025, Peacefully at home (in the tender loving care of his family, in his 81st year) much loved husband of Margaret, special uncle of Michael, Janice and all his loving nieces and nephews, a devoted brother-in-law and treasured cousin of Emily, Clarence and Eileen.

Service of Thanksgiving for his life will take place in D & R Hay and Sons Funeral Home, 24A Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3QQ on Friday, March 14 at 1.30pm, followed by burial in Glendermott Presbyterian Church burial ground. Jackie’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 7 West View Terrace, Sion Mills on Wednesday 12th March, be removed to his cousin Emily’s home, 27 Church Brae, Altnagelvin, Derry on Thursday, March 13 evening, leaving Emily’s home at 1.20pm on Friday to travel to the Funeral Home before the Service of Thanksgiving (at the above address) at 1.30pm.
