The family of the late Phyllis Whittock wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the family members, friends, and neighbours who sympathised with us, and who supported us during the recent loss of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
We’d also like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, or sent cards, gifts and messages. Our thanks go also to those who kindly sent donations in lieu of flowers, and to friends who helped us in so many other ways.
Special thanks go to all the staff at Bannview Care Home for their care and attention during my mother’s time with them, and for the recent support given to close family members at yet another very difficult time.
We also wish to thank the Reverend Scott McDonald, who conducted a thoughtful funeral service and who attended at the graveside.
The family are also very grateful to Gavin, Declan, and all the staff at George Preston Funeral Directors and Funeral Home, for the sensitive and professional manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements for Phyllis, and for the care, consideration and support which was provided to all the family.
