YOUNG Betty passed away on 18th December 2021. Peacefully at Residential Home. Late of Portaferry.
Betty, beloved wife of the late Jimmy, loving and devoted mother of Jim, Gerard, Michael and Joanne, dear mother-in-law of Paula, Joanne and Brenda and much loved granny of Gerard, Connor, Steven, Ryan, Amy, Jamie, Evan, and Zoe and great great granny to Emmalee, Sophia and Niko.
Her remains will repose at John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm and on Monday from 10am to 5pm. Visiting times strictly by appointment by calling 02842728379.
The cortege will leave the Funeral Home on Tuesday 21st Dec. at 12.00 noon via High Street, Ashmount Drive and Windmill Hill to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm which can be viewed live on the parish webcam (portaferryparish.com) . Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only, donations greatly appreciated to The Alzheimers Society.
Our Lady of Knock pray for her. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her sister Pat, her loving family and family circle.
