We the family of the late William Young, wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us, on our loss of a much loved husband, father and grandad. We thank all who called to the family home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent sympathy cards, posted messages on social media, and made donations in lieu of flowers.

A special word of thanks to Rev. Charles Clements for his support and prayers during William’s illness and many visits down the years. We thank him for conducting a lovely Service of Thanksgiving, also Organist Rosemary Craig and Williams granddaughters who done the readings. Thanks to all who helped in the Church, also Mr Raymond Wallace for piping at the Church and graveyard.
Our appreciation to those who paid tribute along the route from our family home to the Church. Our sincere thanks to all who attended the funeral and graveyard and all who helped in anyway.

Our sincere thanks to the medical professionals who looked after William over a number of years. Doctors and Staff at Castlederg Family Practice and also the staff in Donaghy’s Chemist for their care and support.

The family would like to thank Robert Armstrong and Son Funeral Directors for their caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, also the gravediggers.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
