Date of Death:

The family of the late Christopher Bradley (RIP) express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them during their recent sudden bereavement. The support and presence of family and friends has been a significant source of comfort to us all at this time.

We would like to thank extended family, neighbours and friends, and everyone who helped at the wake, brought food, sent mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and posted tributes online. We greatly appreciate all of the kindness and support we received.

Thanks to all who attended Christopher’s wake and funeral. A special thanks to Father McGirr for his support and for celebrating Requiem Mass along with Fr Madden, Fr McGuigan and Fr Brian D’Arcy. Thanks to the sacristan, Eucharistic ministers and altar servers.
Thanks to Declan Nerney, Philomena Begley, Willie Dunn and Kieran and Jason McGilligan for the beautiful and heartfelt music. A massive thank you to Declan Nerney for his wonderful eulogy. Thanks to all Christopher’s many friends from the country music scene, who travelled long distances to honour his memory. Your presence was a great comfort.

We would like to thank St Martin’s GAC for the use of their facilities, as well as their stewarding during the wake and funeral and the guard of honour they provided. We also thank Sarsfields Accordian Band for their guard of honour. Many thanks to those who provided the refreshments after the funeral. Thanks also to the gravediggers who prepared Christopher’s final resting place.
We are indebted to the Garda and emergency services who carried out their duties so professionally.

Sincere thanks to Kevin Murray and Michael Mc Dade for the dignified, compassionate and respectful way in which they supported the family and carried out the funeral arrangements.
We are eternally greatful for everyone’s help and support during this difficult time.

Gabrielle, I am so sorry for your loss. I was at the dance in Toughers on Friday Night and Chris played out of his skin. He seemed so happy and he created so much happiness for all of us dancers as well as his band members I am sure. I have been at many gigs in which Chris played and I want you to know how much we appreciated him. I will light a candle for you and your children and for Chris and your families, and for Declan and band on a regular basis. Chris will rest in peace and I have no doubt will mind you and the children from afar. Hugs. Marie Keenan
