Breandán McNALLY

Date of Death: Tuesday 24th November 2020 Town: Upperlands
Date of Death: Tuesday 24th November 2020

The family of Breandán McNally wish to most sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us on the passing of our much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

To those who sent sympathy cards, Mass Cards, letters, flowers, to those who left photos at the chapel and all the posts that were dedicated to him online, thank you.
Many thanks to those who lined the route for the funeral cortege, attended the funeral and to Greenlough GAC for their Guard of Honour.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the local businesses in Maghera and to those who brought food to the house at the time of Breandán’s passing.
Thank you to the many friends and relatives who called and helped in any way at the family home during the wake and funeral.

We are deeply indebted to Martin from Shields Pharmacy, Kilrea, the Doctors from Portglenone Health Centre, the District nurses from Maghera Health Centre and the Hospital Diversion Nursing Team from Mid Ulster Hospital who cared so lovingly for Breandy during his illness and thank you to those who contributed so generously to this team.

Many thanks to Chuck who made arrangements in the USA to facilitate Breandán’s treatment whilst there and to family and friends who supported the family when there.
Many thanks to Father O’Connell and Father Harkin for their continuous spiritual support through this most difficult time and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and to Laura Cassidy for the lovely music.
Thanks to the McCusker brothers, Tom and Enda for the caring and professional service provided and to the grave digger and sacristan.

To the many who sent messages and were unable to attend the wake or funeral due to covid restrictions, your support did not go unnoticed. As it is impossible to thank individually all those who supported us during this tough time, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere gratitude.

Breandán’s first anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Friday 26th November at 7.30pm in St Oliver Plunketts, Clady and can be viewed via the parish webcam.
