Date of Death: Friday 8th October 2021

The family of Damian Brown would like to express their deep gratitude to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. To those who sent sympathy cards, Mass Cards, letters, flowers and also the numerous phone calls and tributes on various social media platforms, thank you.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the local Hospitality Businesses in Bellaghy and to those who brought food to the house at the time of Damian’s passing. Thank you to the many friends and relatives who called and helped in any way at the family home.

We are deeply indebted to nurse Hilary Ferguson and the staff of the Macmillan ward at Antrim Area Hospital for their professional and compassionate care of Damian during his illness and also to the staff of Bellaghy Medical Centre, Dr John & Dr Laurence who provided invaluable support during Damian’s illness.

Many thanks to Bellaghy GAC for their Guard of Honour and to those who lined the route for the funeral cortège and attended the funeral.

Our sincerest thanks to Monsignor Dolan for his continuous spiritual support through this most difficult time and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and to Justin McGurk for his lovely music, thank you.

Thanks to the McCusker Brothers, Tom and Enda for the caring and professional service provided and to the grave digger and sacristan.

Finally, thanks to those who contributed so generously to Macmillan Cancer Support.
