We the family of the late Bernice Burke R.I.P. would like to express our deep and sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.
For all those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, made donations in lieu of flowers and to the hundreds who through social media have left us overwhelmed with their support, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
To all who attended the wake and funeral and who respectfully lined the funeral route, please accept our thanks.
A special thanks to Kilrea Health Centre, especially Dr McCotter for her dedicated care and attention to Bernice, also to the district nurses for their care.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Macmillan Unit in Antrim where Bernice was so well cared for.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Cargan for a respectful and memorable Funeral Mass, and to the Gribben Girls for the beautiful music, to Wishy Drain for preparing the grave and to those who helped steward the funeral route.
Finally, a sincere thanks to Dempsey Funeral Directors, especially Mairead for their professionalism and attention to detail which was exemplary.
The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for everyone’s intentions.
Bernice’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Drumagarner on Saturday 22nd January at 6pm
BURKE Bernice died on 22nd December 2021 peacefully at the Macmillan Unit, Antrim. Aged 45 years. Late of 26 Dullaghy Rd, Kilrea.
Beloved daughter of James (Jim) and Anne and dear sister of Seamus, Kellie (Doherty) and Mairead (McMullan).
Bernice is reposing at her late residence 26 Dullaghy Rd, Kilrea.
Funeral from her parent’s residence 10 Coleraine Street, Kilrea on Friday 24th at 10.15 am for 11 o clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in adjoining churchyard.
House is strictly private to family and close friends, and funeral Mass numbers will be limited to social distancing within the church. St Pio pray for her
