Michael CASSIDY

Date of Death: Friday 28th January 2022 Town: Bellaghy
Date of Death: Friday 28th January 2022

The family of the late Michael Cassidy would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent bereavement.

Sincere thanks to Rev Monsignor Dolan for his spiritual support and attention throughout daddy’s illness and for his requiem mass. We wish to thank Michael Mawhinney for the beautiful singing and music.

A special thanks to McCusker Bros, Enda, Tom and Ronan for the compassionate, dignified and professional service and to the gravediggers and Brian the sacristan.

The family would like to extend our grateful thanks to the doctors who attended to daddy, and to the Treatment Room and District Nurse teams who were so kind and diligent in their care of daddy. We would also like to extend our thanks to the care Team who for the short time that they looked after daddy, did so with kindness and compassion and with the greatest respect for his dignity. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Marie Curie nurses for their assistance.

Our most sincere thanks to those who attended the wake and all those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and flowers. We would also like to thank our friends, neighbours and local businesses who provided food during the wake. Thanks for the support of the many relatives, neighbours, friends and wider community who lined the route of the funeral cortege to pay their respects. We gratefully appreciate all those who attended the requiem mass – either in person or via the webcam. Your presence brought us great comfort.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment is received by all. The months mind mass for daddy will be held on Friday 11th March at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Bellaghy.
