We, as a family of the late Ellie Connolly, wife of the late Thomas Connolly and Mother of Ciaran and Paul, The Hill 5 Grangecam Road, Ballynoe would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Ellie sadly passed away on New Years Day peacefully at the Ulster Hospital. We would like to say a special thanks to our friends and family for all their support. Thanks to all those who sent letters, Mass Cards, brought gifts of food, floral tributes, A special thanks to all those who attended the house and funeral, condolences via telephone and social media or helped in anyway and kept mother in their thoughts and prayers and to those who made a donation to SVP Bright, and helped in any way.

Special thanks to the Emergency Services, the Staff at the Ulster Hospital in Ward 4A and for the help and support she received from her friends and neighbours throughout her life.
We are very grateful to the doctors and staff of Stream Street Surgery, The District Nursing Team, The staff of Ballymote Pharmacy and The Carers from Lydian Care, all who showed great professionalism and compassion in their care of our mother.
A special thanks to Fr Peter O’Kane for the lovely requiem Mass, and for always supporting us and to Monica, Brian and Clare for the beautiful music. Thanks to Ciaran Fitzpatrick and his team at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their support and professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements and to Tom Edgar who carefully and respectively prepared the grave. Thank you to Bright GAC for the use of their hall and to the committee who helped set up the hall and serve out the food after the funeral and Duffy’s Killough for providing refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.

Mother’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 2nd February 2024 at 19.30 in St Patrick’s Church, Legamaddy.
