Date of Death: Tuesday 8th February 2022

The family of the late Francis Costello RIP, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.

Sincere thanks to those who came to the wake house and all those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, messages and those who provided food during the wake. Thanks for the support of the many neighbours, friends, family and the wider community who lined the route of the funeral cortege to pay their respects. We gratefully appreciate all those who attended the requiem mass. Your presence brought us great comfort.

Sincere thanks to Fr Madden, Fr O’Neill, Fr. McGirr and Fr Downey who provided us with a moving requiem mass. We wish to thank Hannah Ferguson for the beautiful singing and music.

A special thanks to McCusker Bros, Enda, Tom and Ronan for the compassionate, dignified and professional service. We also thank Brigid the sacristan and John Spratt who attended to the grave digging.

Our thanks and gratitude go to all the people who cared for Francis over this past year in hospital and at home, especially the nurses and doctors of the cancer centre, Belfast city hospital who looked after him so expertly during his illness. The family would also like to extend our grateful thanks to the doctors and staff of Draperstown Surgery for the support in which they provided dad.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment is received by all. The months mind mass for dad will be held on Friday 11th February at 7.30pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown.
