The family of the late Frankie Devlin wish to express their sincere thanks to all their relatives, neighbours and friends who supported them during their bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks who visited Frankie’s home, attended the funeral mass, sent mass or sympathy cards and floral tributes .

A special word of thanks to Fr Gerry Tremer for the poignant Requiem Mass. Our sincere Thanks to Dr Gray and Dr Dalzell, District nurses and carers. Our grateful thanks to Frankie’s neighbours on the Anneter Road for their years of caring support to Frankie. Our thanks to the ladies who made tea and sandwiches.

Our deepest appreciation to Laverys Funeral Directors, Conan, Pat and Marie for their professional and compassionate way they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Grateful thanks to readers Brendan, Anne, Cahair and Matthew and John Og for altar serving. Thanks for those who brought up the personal gifts.

Thanks for the inspirational music by Damian Cullen, Siobhan and Meadbth Sweeney. Special thanks to Brendan Hurl of his recitation of the poem “Lifting “by Seamus Heaney.

Thanks to Corky and the staff for the beautiful meal in the Parish community Hall. Our thanks to Maura Quinn for her beautiful floral arrangements. Thanks to Gerard and Finn the gravediggers for preparing Frankie’s grave and to Eamon the sacristan for all their help.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation for all acts of kindness.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Frankie’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 17th April at 7.30pm in The Church of The Immaculate Conception Moortown. Mass will also be streamed via Church webcam (link below).

Always on our minds and forever in our hearts , may he rest in eternal peace.

DEVLIN Frankie – (Anneter Road, Moortown) 10th March 2023. Peacefully at home.

Frankie R.I.P. Dearly loved brother of Susie (O’Neill), Jim and Teasie (Robinson) and brother of the late Annie May, Willie, Mickey and Bridget and son of the late James and Mary Anne R.I.P.

Removal from his home at 45 Anneter Road to arrive at The Church of The Immaculate Conception Moortown on Saturday 11th March at 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday 12th March at 1pm and will be streamed via Church webcam (link below). Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. St Padre Pio pray for him.

Deeply regretted by his loving brother, sisters, nephews, nieces and wider family circle.

Frankie’s wake will commence at 4.30pm on Friday and from 10am on Saturday.
