James DOHERTY
The family of the late James Doherty 23 Bessie Bell Court Newtownstewart, who passed away on the 6th of April 2024.
We Would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to his friends and neighbours who visited him when he was sick and also when he passed, for everyone who attended the wake and funeral, who sent mass and sympathy cards and messages via social media, we also want thank everyone who helped at the wake making refreshments or in any other way.
We also want thank Newtownstewart medical centre, district nurses and Bradley’s chemist Newtownstewart, We also want to thank the Glen caring staff that cared for James in such a loving and compassionate way during his illness, and also the Marie curie staff who nursed him in his final days, we are forever grateful for the care you gave him.
We would also like the thank father Roland Colhoun for the beautiful requiem mass he preformed, and thank you too (Jude) Quigley’s undertakers for the professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out to the grave diggers and singers, we also want to thank the staff in Bessie Bell Court for the refreshments after the funeral Mass.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we sincerely hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
From his sisters Bridie and Maggie, nieces and nephews Roslyn, Joanne, Louise, Karen, Paul, Peter, Gary and Shaun.
The death has taken place April 6th 2024, at his home of James Doherty, 23 Bessie Bell Court, Newtownstewart and formerly of Dregish.
Much loved stepfather of Helen and Marian, dearly loved Grandfather of Kerry, Barry, Odran, Shane and Lee, brother of Bridie, Maggie and the late Johnny and Katie and uncle of Roslyn, Joanne, Karen, Louise, Sean, Gary, Peter and Paul.
Reposing at his home on Sunday (April 7th) from 4p.m. Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday (April 9th) at 10.15a.m for Requiem Mass in St Mary`s Church, Dregish at 11a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing stepdaughters, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
