Bernadette Elizabeth DUFFY (née McCrory)

Date of Death: Monday 13th September 2021 Town: Cookstown
Date of Death: Monday 13th September 2021

The sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of the late Bernadette Elizabeth Duffy (nee McCrory) wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr Donnelly & Fr Seamus Heron for their spiritual support and guidance and also for celebrating Mum’s (Bernadette’s) beautiful Requiem Mass.
A special word of thanks to Gerard Loughran & Emma Bradley for providing the lovely singing which made Mum’s (Bernadette’s) Mass so special. We would also like to thank PG Videos for the beautiful recording of Mum’s (Bernadette’s) funeral ceremony and burial.

The family would like to thank everyone who helped in caring for Mum (Bernadette), especially the Haematology Department in Laurel Housel, Dr Windrum & Dr Niblock, the medical team and nursing staff in Antrim Hospital and to the dedicated nursing staff at the MacMillan Unit who took great care in looking after Mum (Bernadette). To the doctors and staff at Loy Medical Practice and the District Nursing team who were a great support to Mum (Bernadette.)

We are indebted to all those who supported Mum (Bernadette) in her illness, the phone calls, visits from special friends and family members which meant so much to her. A special word of thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, wreaths, floral tributes, McMillan donations and who expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. This provided much comfort to us all.

While respecting social distancing regulations we appreciated all who gathered at Mum’s (Bernadette’s) home during the wake and before the funeral cortege departed. To the people who lined the route from Cookstown to Cranagh and all who had gathered in Cranagh village and joined us at the chapel we are truly thankful.
Thank you also to the grave diggers who prepared Mum’s (Bernadette’s) resting place with great care and to all who helped us in any way.

We would sincerely like to thank Niall A Loughran Funeral Directors for their very efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Mum’s (Bernadette’s) months mind Mass will be celebrated on October 16th at 6pm Vigil Mass in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown.
