We the family of the late Johnny Feeney wish to acknowledge with deep gratitude , the comfort and support shown to us by our relatives, friends , neighbours and colleagues during the recent sad loss of our beloved husband , daddy , grandfather and great grandfather.

A special word of thanks to Fr Micheál McGavigan for his beautiful comforting requiem mass and support over the last month.
We would like to thank Fr O’Connell, Fr Collins and Fr Forbes for the prayers and support showed to the family.

Thank you to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, private messages, phone calls, floral tributes and wreaths, brought food and made scones and sandwiches and helped with the refreshments after the funeral.
To Margaret the Sacristan for her help, the Eucharist Minister, the readers, and the singers Martin & Joelene – Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and the funeral, travelled distances or watched the funeral mass on Webcam.
Thank you to the gravediggers and the stewards and to the friends who stood on the roadside as the cortege made its way to the final place of rest.

A special thanks to Seamus, Deborah and Eugene of McLaughlin funeral directors for their professionalism and diligence throughout the wake and the funeral and for the care towards us as a family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere heartfelt thanks.

Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 26th of March at 7 pm in St Joseph’s Church Banagher.

FEENEY Johnnie – suddenly on 26th of February 2022, may he rest in peace. Late of 25 Umrycam Road, Feeny, Co Derry.

Loving son of the late Bridie and John R.I.P. Beloved husband of Geraldine and loving father of Adrian (Sharon), Gareth (Iona) and Ciara (Ryan). Devoted grandfather of Conán, Chloe, Cathán, Lisa Marie, Caoimhe, Ethan and Richard and great grandfather of Róghan. Dear brother of Dorothy, Patricia, Jimmy, Susie Martin, Nora, Peter, Connie, Joan and the late Michael R.I.P. Deeply regretted by his sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews and the entire family circle.

Funeral from his late residence on Wednesday, 2nd March leaving at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Banagher, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the most holy Rosary pray for him.
