Betty FEGAN (née Mulholland)
We, the family of the late Betty Fegan wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to our wider family circle, friends and neighbours, those who called to the house, attended the Funeral, sent Mass Cards and messages. Your prayers and support are very much appreciated.
Thank you to the Paramedics who attended Betty at home on New Year’s Eve. Our sincere thanks to Fr Brendan Kearns PP who celebrated Betty’s Requiem Mass and to Fr Desmond Mooney (family friend) for giving a lovely uplifting and personal Homily, along with Fr Krzysztof Kosciolek, Fr Charlie Byrne and Canon John Kearney who also attended the Wake and Funeral.
We would like to thank Mr Francis McMahon for his help and assistance and also Mrs Catherine Magee, Mrs Bronagh Brien and Mrs Mariva Harvey for their beautiful music and singing during Betty’s Requiem Mass. A word of thanks to Buren Social Club and especially Brendan McKernan and Garbhan McFerran and also to Hugh Murray and The Diamonds for providing the meal after Betty’s burial.
We extend our gratitude to McAnulty Funeral Directors, Warrenpoint, for the caring and professional manner in which the Funeral Arrangements were carried out. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this Acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and a Mass will be offered and celebrated for all your intentions.
Betty’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 28th at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Burren.
