Date of Death: Thursday 21st December 2023 Town: Ballinderry
Date of Death: Thursday 21st December 2023

The Gilligan family wish to express our gratitude to all our family, friends and supportive neighbours who sympathised and supported us through the loss of our dear mother Adeline.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake, helped with parking cars, brought food, sent mass/sympathy cards, floral tributes and attended the funeral.

Thanks to Conan & Pat from Lavery’s funeral directors for the professional and compassionate manner in which they handled the funeral arrangements.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Fr Donnelly who was a regular visitor to mum over the weeks prior to her passing and for the celebration of the mass assisted by Father Paddy McGuckin, a lifetime friend of both Adeline and the late Joey, whose marriage he celebrated in 1964 as well as their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2014. Thanks also to Margaret Ann and Patrick for the beautiful music.

Thanks to the district nurses; Maureen and Alannah, Coagh Medical Centre and Pharmacy, The Macmillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital and Marie Curie, all of whom provided invaluable support and care. A special word of thanks also to Eilis, our palliative care nurse.

It will be impossible to thank everyone individually and we therefore hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

Mummy’s month mind mass will take place on Friday January 19th at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Ballinderry.
