Kathleen’s family circle would like to sincerely thank all who supported and sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
Special thanks to all the nursing teams involved in making our mums final weeks as peaceful and pain free as possible, in particular Sinead, Catherine and Grainne who tended to our mums needs over the past 12 months.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Sharkey and Michelle for their heartfelt care and attention, not only during mum’s illnesses, but for their friendship and concern throughout the years.

A special thanks to Fr. McDevitt for his spiritual support and for celebrating the requiem Mass, and the Bradley family accompanied with Maureen and Isobel for providing the beautiful music.

Kathleen’s family wish to especially thank their kind relatives, friends and neighbours who helped them during this difficult time and to all those who messaged, sent cards, flowers, attended the wake or accompanied their mum on her final journey to the Church.

Finally, sincere thanks to Kieran, Peter and all at McClafferty Funeral Directors, for the professional, compassionate and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out.

The months mind Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated on Friday 15th October at 7pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown.

HARKIN (née Cullen) Kathleen died on the 16th of September 2021, peacefully at her late home, surrounded by all her loving family. Late of 103 Moyola Drive. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Jim. Devoted mother of Collette, Siobhan, Michael and Donna. A much loved mother-in-law of Trevor, John, Rosaleen and Joe. Loving grandmother to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Kathleen’s remains will be reposing from this evening at her late residence, 103 Moyola Drive, funeral leaving from there on Saturday 18th September at 10:20am for 11am requiem Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, burial immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sadly, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and in accordance with the updated government guidelines the wake and funeral will be private for family and friends only. Please maintain social distancing and adhere to government guidelines at all times. On Her Soul Sweet Jesus Have Mercy. Our Lady Of Lourdes Intercede For Her.
