The family of the late Matthew (Matha) Hassan R.I.P. would like to extend their sincere thanks to all those who sympathized with them following the death of their much loved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.

We would like to express our thanks to our kind relations, friends, and neighbours for their support and sympathy following our sad bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who sent mass and sympathy cards, provided food, sent messages and flowers and attended the wake and funeral. Also thanks to Gormley’s Chemist, Culbertson’s Spar and Alexander Arms.

Thanks to the doctors and staff at ward 24 Altnagelvin for the professional care and support they gave to our father and also Rossaire Family Practice for all their support over the past few weeks.

Our sincere thanks to Monsignor McCanny for his pastoral care and celebration of requiem mass, and also to Fr O’Hagan who performed the burial ceremony, thanks also to Fr McDermott who called at the house. Thanks to Liam & Jeanette Kelly for the amazing music in the chapel, and granddaughters Julie Ann and Gemma for carrying out the readings.

Thank you to Thomas and Brendan, O’Brien’s of Limavady Funeral Directors for their caring, dignifying and professional manner in the way they carried out all the funeral arrangements, we cannot thank you enough.

Our father Matthew (Matha) months mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 11th December at 6pm in Christ the King, we will also celebrate the 10th year anniversary of our loving mother Maureen Hassan.

HASSAN Matthew (Matha) Died on 9th November 2021. Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 61 Josephine Avenue Limavady.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen, R.I.P. loving father of Matthew, Anthony, Michael, Damian, and Ryan, a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Dear brother of Kathleen, and the late Ruby, Agnes, Hugh, Patrick, Willie-John, and Michael R.I.P. House strictly family only please.

Funeral from his home: 61 Josephine Avenue Limavady on Thursday 11th at 9.35am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Irish Green Street followed by interment in St Aidan’s Cemetery Magilligan. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
