We the wife, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren of the late John Hogg wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all the kind friends and neighbours, to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, called at the house and attended the Funeral.

Special thanks to Fr. Kearns who celebrated the Requiem Mass. To the Doctors and Nursing Staff of Daisy Hill Hospital we thank you. We also thank the Principal, Staff and P.7 Pupils of St. Colman’s Primary School, Saval and St. Peter’s G.A.A. Club, Warrenpoint who provided a guard of honour at the Church. We thank Janice for the beautiful singing, Canon Kearney for his comforting words and Dr. Mary Henry for her wonderful care of John and to Cathal and Méabh at McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Month’s Mind Mass for John will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint on Sunday 12th December at 11.30am

HOGG John died on 13th November 2021, peacefully at hospital. Late of 38, Pinewood Hill, Warrenpoint.

John, dearly loved husband of Marie and loving dad of Kathryn, John and David, father-in-law of Aveen and Emma and cherished “Granda John” of Oliver, Mannix, Joe, Jack, Bella and Adam.
May his soul rest in peace.

John’s remains will leave his home on Tuesday at 10am arriving at St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint for 10.30am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on webcam (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Burren.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and entire family circle.
