Date of Death: Sunday 21st November 2021 Town: Bellaghy
Date of Death: Sunday 21st November 2021

The family of the late James Anthony Kearney would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported us in any way during our recent bereavement.

We are very grateful to our extended family, neighbours and friends, for their care and support during the wake and funeral. For those who helped out in any way, came to the home, rang, sent letters, mass cards, sympathy cards, messages via social media, texts, emails and flowers. We deeply appreciated the food supplied by local businesses.

Thank you to all those who attended the funeral in person and to those who viewed the mass and prayed via webcam.

We would extend our thanks to all the medical staff who cared for James A during his illness – from Antrim Area Hospital, Mid Ulster Hospital and the staff at Bellaghy Medical Centre, particularly Rosemary Scullion, Dr. Woulahan and Dr. Laverty for their attentive care during James Anthony’s illness.

We would also like to thank the Care team and the Nurses from the NI Hospice and MacMillan who supported us to care for James Anthony at home during his last weeks.
A sincere thank you to Monsignor Dolan, Bellaghy, for his kindness, compassion and support to the family and to James Anthony, and for the beautiful requiem mass that so aptly celebrated James Anthony’s life.

Thank you to all the grandchildren who played such an important role at the Mass. Warmest thanks to Una McGill who sang so beautifully during the funeral mass.
Our family would sincerely like to thank Enda and the McCusker Bros Magherafelt for their guidance, empathy, and professionalism during the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.

Mass will be offered for your intentions. James Anthony’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 22nd December in St. Mary’s Chapel, Bellaghy at 7pm.
