Anne KELLY
The family of the late Anne would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Anne was a widely respected lady and a dearly loved, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, brought food, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician Sinead Loane who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Anne’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes and to McAtees Bar and Restaurant for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
We would also like to thank all of Anne’s dear friends who made the journey from far and wide.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Anne’s care in Hospital, especially the nurses and doctors of Ward 8 of the South West Acute Hospital.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Anne is ever loved and sadly missed, she was such a presence in all our lives. May her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, on Saturday the 30th of December at 6pm. Our Lady pray for her.
KELLY Anne – formerly of Omagh & Main Street, Fintona, died peacefully at South West Acute Hospital on Wednesday 29th November 2023.
Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Sinead. Treasured sister of Mary Campbell (Ian), Mike (Ita), John (Bronagh), Bernie Taylor (Kenny) and Finola O’Malley (Jim), Paul (Sue) and Carmel. Loving and devoted aunt to her 16 nephews and nieces.
Anne will be reposing in her sister Mary’s residence, 14 Ecclesville Road, Fintona BT78 2EF from 7.30pm until 10pm on Thursday 30th November and from 10am until 10pm on Friday 1st December.
Anne will leave her sister Mary’s residence at 11.30am on Saturday 2nd December for 12noon requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Anne will travel from the Ecclesville Road, and along Mill Street, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church at 11.50am.
