Anne Doherty and the extended Kelly family wish to express sincere thanks for all the kind support they received following the recent death of Colm. Thank you to all who called at the house, sent Mass cards or messages of sympathy, lined the funeral route or attended the funeral in person or via the webcam.
Special thanks to Fr Charlie Keaney, Fr Paddy Doherty, Fr Kieran O’Doherty, Fr Jim Brady and Fr Seamus O’Neill for celebrating the Requiem Mass.
Thanks to Una McGill for the beautiful singing and music. Thanks also to the sacristan and to those who prepared the grave.
Sincere thanks to Michael Gormley (J.A. Gormley, Funeral Directors Maghera) for his help with all the arrangements for the funeral.
Thanks also to Granaghan Outreach for their presence when the cortege arrived at the church.
The care and attention given to Colm by members of NI Ambulance Service, the doctors and nursing staff of ICU at Antrim Hospital is very much appreciated.
As it is not possible to thank each person individually, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere thanks and appreciation to all.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Colm will be celebrated on Thursday 27th January at 7.00pm in St John the Baptist Church, Granaghan.
KELLY Colm died on 27th December 2021, peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital. Late 27 Ranaghan Rd, Halfgain, BT46 5ND.
Beloved son the late Michael and Margaret and loving partner of Anne Doherty and brother of Jane McNally, Rosemary McKenna, Bernadette McKenna, Patrick, Charley, Kevin, Francis, Brendan, Jackie, Anne O’Kane Cecilia O’Kane and Brigid and the late Michael, Eugene and infant Bernard.
House strictly private.
Funeral cortége travelling from his house, 27 Ranaghan Rd, BT46 5ND via Tirkane Rd, Halfgain Rd, Drumbane Rd and Swatragh on Friday 31st December at 10.10am for 11am Requiem Mass in St John the Baptist, Church, Granaghan. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Requiem Mass numbers will be limited within the Church in line with social distancing restrictions.
Prayers will be recited online on Thursday evening 7pm from St John the Baptist Church, Granaghan.
Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Deeply regretted by Anne, sisters, brothers, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and wider family circle.
